Every saree we sell is made from one of three fabrics. Each one feels, drapes and wears differently, so the right choice depends on where you are going and how long you will be wearing it.
Semi muslin

Semi muslin is soft, smooth and very light. It is the most comfortable of the three in hot weather and flows when you walk. It holds pleats well for a light fabric.
Good for: long festival days, Pujas, daytime events, summer.
In the shop: Anjali, Arunima, Bodhua, Kadambari, Haimanti (with a khadi achol) and Sagarmita.
Half silk

Half silk blends silk with cotton. You get some of silk's sheen and a slightly richer hand, with the comfort of cotton. It has a firmer, crisper drape than semi muslin.
Good for: weddings as a guest, evening events, formal occasions.
In the shop: Tilottoma, Suparna, Tomashree, Alta and Shubhra.
Handloom cotton

Our Monipuri sarees are woven on handlooms in premium cotton. The fabric is breathable and structured, so it keeps its shape all day and softens with every wash.
Good for: work, daytime gatherings, anyone who wants a crisp, tidy drape.
In the shop: the six sarees in our Monipuri collection.
