Tilottoma
Tilottoma was made for Pohela Boishakh. It is white half silk with bright red and yellow floral prints and a red border. Light and comfortable for a full day of festivities. We wrote more about it in The Tilottoma Saree for Pohela Boishakh.
Alta
Alta flips the colours: crimson red with white floral motifs inspired by alpona, and a lace border. It shares its name with alta, the red dye traditionally painted on the feet at celebrations.
Chandralota
Chandralota is red with white traditional motifs, a lightweight saree that suits the New Year as well as weddings and other celebrations.
